INTRODUCTION

A ftershock is a modeling scene modeled by Maya and rendered by Unreal IV.  It was inspired by another of my works, The Ship of Theseus. The steampunk ship was forced to crash-land in a valley due to a gear malfunction, only to get stuck awkwardly between the canyons. The crew may have to repair the hull with local materials and sail on before daylight.

The work was modeled and textured in Maya, with rendering and particle effects added in Unreal 4 Engine.
